Saving Franklin’s Legs
I try to keep this upbeat and indeed this baby had a happy ending after much expense to the rescue. Someone threw him out of moving car…and this wasn’t the first time we had this kind of cruelty in our small town. At first we thought Franklin’s back legs would never work right. He dragged them at first and there was fear that amputation would be necessary but slowly slowly with lots of love and patience he got to walk almost normally. Kittens have it going for them that they want to move and play; they are their own best physical therapists.
